Bubbles Academy has multiple birthday celebration options – Indoor parties at 900 N. Michigan and Bubbles Academy Preschool, Outdoor Nature Playground Birthday Parties, Virtual Birthday Parties and Custom Songs & Adventures!
Birthday Parties at 900 N. Michigan
Bubbles Academy offers indoor birthday parties in our bright and whimsical space at 900 N . Michigan!
Available Saturdays 3:30 – 5:30 PM and Sundays 11 AM – 1 PM, 3:30 – 5:30 PM
Parties Include:

2 hours in our 900 N. Michigan Avenue space
- Up to 16 participating children (ages 9 months – 9 years) and 32 additional adults
- 30 minutes of teacher-led activity: either music/movement (ages 1-6), imagination adventure (ages 3-6), or custom art project (ages 4-7)
- Tables and seating for children, cocktail tables for adults, and two 6ft long tables to accommodate food, drinks, and dessert with your choice of tablecloths (highchairs available upon request)
- Bubbles Academy staff to help set-up your party, keeping it running smoothly, and and lead a bubble-filled goodbye
You Provide:
- Snacks, beverages, and ice for your group. Please note, there is no access to refrigerators, freezers, or heating appliances, so please plan accordingly.
- Birthday desserts of your choice
- Tableware such as plates, silverware, and napkins
- Party specific decor and/or favors (all decor must be free-standing as we are not able to affix items to our walls)
Pricing & Policies:
- All 900 N. Michigan parties are $700 for 2 hours. Limited time offer: Currently enrolled families are eligible for a $100 discount!
- A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date, the remainder will be due on the day of your party.
- Cancellation Policy: you may choose an alternative date, pending availability, or you may apply your deposit to class enrollment at Bubbles Academy. There are no refunds.
- Parking passes for the 900 Self-Park garage may be purchased in advance for you and your guests at an additional charge of $10/car for 3 hours of garage access. Full count required one week prior to your event.

Music & Movement Themes
(Ages 1-3)
Classic Birthday Boogie
Shimmy and sing loud and proud to kid classics like “The Wheels on the Bus” and “The Itsy Bitsy Spider.” We will celebrate the birthday kid through music that everyone knows and loves!
Ocean Party Tunes
Dip your toes in the sand or dive right in to our ocean party music. We’ll visit some of your favorite under the sea creatures and soak up some rays on the shore. Don’t forget to bring your sunglasses and splash along!
Safari Party
Listen to the rhythm deep in the jungle! Grab some binoculars and keep those eyes peeled for lions, tigers, and bears! Oh my! We’ll sing and dance with all our favorite safari animals!
Transportation Bash
Fasten your seat-belts — this party is full of drive, fly and zoom action. If you have your own little speed racer, this bash is the perfect song-filled vehicle to celebrate a birthday!
Yoga Bash
Buddha Belly Kids Yoga will lead a private children’s yoga class, where you will explore yoga through poses, movement, and relaxation while encouraging creativity and fun!

Enchanted Forest
Need a little magic? Join us as we travel through the Enchanted forest to get to the royal ball! Unicorns, Fairies, and Dragon or two! Who knows what we’ll find in this fantastical time.
Under the Sea
Time to set sail on the S.S. Bubbles. Join the pirate crew to sail across the deep blue sea. You’ll meet all your favorite ocean creatures as you help the mermaids and save the day!
Superhero Training
Do you have what it takes to save the world? Superhero students will fly into the “training center” for lessons in speed, morphing, balance, agility and strength in this SUPER celebration.
Custom Art Party
(Ages 4-7)
The Bubbles Academy Art Experts will dream up an age-appropriate art project that fits your party theme, and lead everyone through the process of creating their own masterpiece!
Custom art parties also include a collaborative art piece that all party guests can contribute to, as a take-home gift for the birthday child!

Bubbles Academy now offers indoor birthday parties at our preschool space at 2184 N. Elston!
Available Saturdays 1:00pm – 2:30pm, 3:30 – 5:00 PM and Sundays 10:30am – 12:00pm, 3:30 – 5:00 PM

- Up to 18 participating children (ages 9 months – 9 years) and 30 additional adults (up to 24 children for $10/additional child)
- Open play in our carpeted Mountain and Meadow play rooms
- Tables and seating for children and adults, and tables to accommodate food, drinks, and dessert with your choice of tablecloths (highchairs available upon request)
- Bubbles Academy staff to help set-up your party, keeping it running smoothly, and and lead a bubble-filled goodbye
You Provide:
- Snacks, beverages, and ice for your group. Please note, there is no access to refrigerators, freezers, or heating appliances, so please plan accordingly.

Outdoor Birthday Parties on the Nature Playground are back at 2184 N. Elston! We’re excited to offer you and your loved ones a tented outdoor space to celebrate!
Available May through October: Saturdays 1:00 – 2:30 and 3:30 – 5:00 PM, Sundays 10:30 – 12:00 and 1:00 – 2:30 PM

Virtual Birthday Parties
Bubbles Academy is now offering virtual birthday parties, hosted via Zoom! Your 60-minute virtual party experience includes:
- 30 minute teacher-led activity: Concert or themed imagination adventure (scroll up for themes!)
- Teacher-led portion is customized for your child with their favorite activities and songs
- Teacher-led Happy Birthday with live music
- Zoom meeting may be left open for another 30 minutes for families to chat and kids to visit
- Recorded video of custom interactive class portion sent to family after the party
- Virtual Party Price: $150
Custom Songs & Adventures
Celebrate a birthday, special occasion or just spread some cheer with a custom song or mini-imagination adventure! Both options are delivered via video for you to keep and play as much as you would like!
Custom Song: Provide info on your child’s favorite things, and we’ll turn it into a personalized original song just for them!
Mini-Adventure: 5 minute adventure, customized to your requested theme!

Covid-19 Safety + Code of Clean
Our goal is to allow for you to celebrate in the safest way possible. Our rules and regulations are based on the scientific and data-driven guidelines from the CDC, the City of Chicago, and IDPH. We ask for your help in ensuring your guests follow these rules.
Bubbles Academy’s commitment includes:
- A clean party space with freshly sanitized surfaces
- All props used will be distributed individually and sanitized between uses.
Safety regulations for you and your guests:
- Strict adherence to the guest limit stated above
- Guests who have recently tested positive for COVID-19, have been exposed to someone who recently tested positive for COVID-19, are under a travel quarantine outlined by the City of Chicago’s Travel Advisory, or are showing any symptoms of illness should NOT attend the event.

"I knew going into it that it would be a fabulous time, but I was really blown away by how on top of it the staff was in terms of timing and fluidity. There was something new to happen for the kids so exploring and playing never stopped. With the energy that my little guy had, I was actually nervous about walking into the room with the blocks and tunnels and the staff assured me that it would change up after the music and they were right and very smart. The kids warmed up to the blocks and tunnel, engaged in the music without too many distractions then had a blast with the whole array of open play toys, to the point that we extended it! I also appreciated the fact that I didn't have to look at my watch once. The staff alerted me when something was about to happen. That is something that all parents are constantly doing at parties because they want to keep the flow going without the party going too long (or kids getting hangry) and I did not have to worry the whole time we were there. THANK YOU beyond words!"

There were also some nice touches that we we weren't expecting (like the minion sign-in card, the minion projection in the food area). Without even asking, the decorations really supported our minion theme. Tyler and the staff made the party a success. They were so helpful with the setup and getting the kids from the play area to the food area. I also liked that the kids can go back to the play area after food. I also really appreciated the staff having the kids put on hand cleaner before going inside the food area. And Tyler cut the cake perfectly!"

"What a fantastic space for big kid-friendly gatherings!!! I hosted a big 150 ppl Heritage Night event there and I cannot even begin to describe how wonderful it went thanks to this great spot with extremely helpful staff and perfect layout. Everything from their high tech music equipment to awesome toys made our party a huge success. Sierra and her helpers were super accommodating, fulfilled every request we had, helped us to set up food and cleaned the whole place afterwards! And all of this for a very reasonable price!!! Definitely coming back to host another school event at bubbles!!! Those guys are priceless!"
